Virtualize Your Classroom Training:
Using the GEAR Model

3-Week, Live Online Course | August 10-28, 2020

There is a greater need than ever to convert our in-person, or classroom training, to the virtual world. To successfully make this conversion it requires much more than dumping your instructor-led content onto a digital platform.

Using our tried and true GEAR Model you are able to rapidly make this adaption. You are able to blend both virtual and workflow learning. You are putting your learners on the quick path to continued, successful on-the-job performance—remotely.

The GEAR Model

  • {G}ather in the virtual classroom.
  • {E}xpand upon what was learning—in the workflow.
  • {A}pply what was learning on-the-job, in the flow of work.
  • {R}eceive feedback back in the virtual classroom.

This live online course takes a deep dive in to the model’s cycles moving you from designing for GEAR to translating a course to GEAR, and then on to training in GEAR. It is ideal for those looking to rapidly re-design current instructor-led training, specifically exercises focused on “knowing” and “doing”.

Walk in with an ILT, walk out with the tools to design for, and teach, that same content in a virtual classroom. With the same, if not higher impact on performance.
